Arunachal Pradesh

Tawang :-

Nestled in the Himalayas, Tawang is a charming little hill station in Arunachal Pradesh and considered one of the most popular tourist destinations in North East India. Rich in culture and history, Tawang is India’s largest monastery and a sacred destination for Buddhists. Tawang Monastery, Tawang War Memorial, Nuranang Waterfall, Jaswant Gar, Peng Teng Tso Lake, Urgeling Gompa, Taktsang Gompa, Sela Pass, Bunla Pass, Samteng Yongcha Monastery, etc. The attractions of Tawang are endless.

Dirang :-

Dirang is about 37 km from Bomdila on the road to Tawang. Dirang is a small town in West Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh. The beautiful hill town is also located on the banks of Kameng River known as Jia Bharali in Assam. The town of Dirang is located at an altitude of 900 meters. Dirang has recently come into tourist limelight as it is located between Jorhat in Assam and Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh. People visiting Tawang live here. Many tourists make a pit stop at Dirang on their way to or from Tawang.

Bomdila :-

Bomdila is the district headquarters of West Kameng in the state of Arunachal Pradesh. Bomdila offers tourists a panoramic view of the mighty Himalayan landscape and its snowy mountains. It is famous for its apple orchids and tourists can walk through them. There are also a couple of Buddhist monasteries or gompas. The area surrounding Bomdila has several hiking and trekking trails that attract the adventure seeker.

Ziro :-

Daporijo:-

Rice fields, tropical forests full of bamboo and the beautiful Subansiri River flowing along the town, Daporijo is a small town on the road from Ziro to Along. Daporijo is a picturesque town situated at an altitude of 600 meters in the Upper Subansiri district of north-eastern Arunachal Pradesh. Daporijo is generally a nice town for a rest stop on the way from Ha Long to Ziro, otherwise the town doesn’t have much to offer tourists.

Mechukha :-

Mechukha is gradually becoming a popular tourist destination in Arunachal Pradesh due to its beautiful landscapes, exotic tribes, gentle hills, snow-capped mountains and Siyom River (locally known as Yargyap Chu). The Seum River, which flows through Mechukha, also offers a panoramic view of the valley . Famous city Lasa of Tibet is just 35 km away from Mechuka . You can explore a pure Tibetan culture here

Anini :-

Anini is located in the picturesque area of ​​Dibang Valley, with pleasant climate and limitless scenery, and is a tourist paradise emerging from the clouds. Its silence, beauty and charm sound soothing to the core. Popular nearby attractions include the Mehao Wildlife Sanctuary.

Yingkiong:-

On the banks of the beautiful Siang River, Yingkiong is home to the Upper Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh and attracts countless nature lovers and adventurers from across the country and the world. The pristine nature and tranquility of the small town, still outside of commercial tourism, make it an ideal escape to spend some quiet time in the lap of nature, away from the hustle and bustle of today’s bustling urban life .

Walong :-

Walong is a small camp in Arunachal Pradesh, the easternmost point of India, where the first rays of sun rise in India. Walong is famous for the Memorial to the Indians who died in the Sino-Indian War of 1962, which is located on the northern road in Kibito. There are also two smaller temples located at Helm Top, on a hill about 18 km away. Walong is also famous for its hot water spring, less than 9 kilometers from the main city.

Dong:-

Located at the confluence of the Lohit and Sati rivers, Dong  is the easternmost village in India and is believed to have received the first rays of sunlight. Dong Valley is located at an altitude of 1240 meters above sea level and is strategically located in India, Myanmar and China. With its pristine natural beauty, it is a photographer’s paradise. Hiking is the best way to explore this beautiful destination.

Namsai :-

It is located near the Nao Diheng River. The Golden Pagoda at Tengapani, Namsai district, is a major tourist destination. The Golden Pagoda, known as “Kongmu Kham” in the local Tai-Khamti language, is one of the largest Buddhist monasteries in Northeast India.

Tezu :-

Nestled in the serene Mishmi Hills of Arunachal Pradesh, Tezu is immersed in majestic nature and finding its name is the most popular tour in Northeast India has become one of its attractions. Namdhapa :-

Known as one of the most biodiverse areas in India, the park is home to the world’s northernmost evergreen rainforest at 27° N. The area is also known for its extensive dipterocarp forests, which are one of the last remote wilderness areas of Asia. Namdhapa and its adjacent areas are bordered by the Patkai Mountains to the south and southeast and the Himalayas to the north, near the triple junction of India, Myanmar and China.Namdapha , specially Doban (Core area) is the paradise of countless birds, butterflies, flying squirrels, gourds, spectacled monkeys, clouded leopards, countless wildlife waits to be captured in the frame.
