5 NIGHTS / 6 DAYS

Day  1:Arrive at Imphal Airport and transfer to LoktakSendra Resort. In the evening go for boat riding in sunset. Night stay at resort.

Day 2 : Early morning boat ride and after breakfast  proceed to Moreh , it is about 140 kms/4 hours journey from Loktak. Then we will cross the international Indo Myanmar border and visit Tamu, the nearest town of Myanmar. Lunch at Tamu. After returning to India explore Namphalong Market for shopping (it’s a border market flooded with cheap electronic goods/gadgets, clothes, kitchen ware etc). Night stay at hotel  Elora.

Day 3 and Day 4 : After lunch  drive to Imphal ( 110 Kms / 3 hours) visit Imphal War Cemetery – this place was built to commemorate the British and Indian soldiers who died during World War II, Manipur   State Museum, Kangla Fort – the ancient capital of Manipuri Kingdom till 1891, Ema Market – the famous market run only by womenfolk, and Shree ShreeGovindajee Temple. If time permits you can visit Andro village, an ancient village with traditional houses. Also visit Mutua museum.

Day 5 :After breakfast transfer to Ukhrul,  which is about 84 kms/2.5 hrs from Imphal. Visit ShiruiKashung, Nillai Tea Estate, KhangkhuiCave ,Khayang Peak etc.  Night stay at Ukhrul.

Day 6: After breakfast, transfer to Airport.Tour ends with a memorable experience of Manipur.
